Description U.S. Navy SEAL candidates from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) class 286 participate in a training exercise Oct. 27, 2010, at Naval Base Coronado in Coronado, Calif. Surf passage training is designed to be a physically demanding evolution of First Phase conditioning for BUD/S students, who can be members of the U.S. Navy or Coast Guard.
