William Adomeit, left, an explosive ordnance disposal specialist assigned to the Joint Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Accounting Command (JPAC), stands by to search for metal as Anthropologist Mary Megyesi, center, and a team member excavate dirt for evidence in Khammouan, Laos. Adomeit is part of an 11-person team from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, on a 35-day mission to search for evidence of two Americans lost in the Vietnam War. The mission of JPAC is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans missing as a result of our nation's past conflicts.
