English: ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 26, 2011) A GOES-13 infrared satellite image provided by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, Monterey, Calif., showing the status of Hurricane Irene at approximately 6 a.m. EST Friday, Aug. 26. The National Hurricane Center reported in their 11 a.m. advisory that Irene has sustained winds of and is moving north at 14-miles-per-hour. The storm is 330 miles south-southwest of Cape Hatteras, N.C. (U.S. Navy photo/Released)
