English: Shock Tube for explosion testing of building components – This is an R/D tool that is acceptable for seeing the effects of shock waves without fire, heat or shrapnel.
Deutsch: Stoßrohr: Für Explosionsprüfungen von Bauteilen – Ein Werkzeug der Forschung und Entwicklung um die Wirkung einzig und allein einer Stoßwelle, also ohne Brand, Hitze oder fliegender Trümmer (Fragmentierung) zu ermitteln. Zur Arbeitssicherheit ist hier noch zu kommentieren, dass keine Hilfsmittel zum Transport von Prüflingen am Prüfstand vorhanden sind.
