Description
English: Bernhard Uffrecht (1885–1959) in the early 1920s. The progressive pedagogue started his career at Freie Schulgemeinde Wickersdorf near Saalfeld in Thuringia Forest, which was founded by Gustav Wyneken (1875–1964) and partially administrated by Martin Luserke (1880–1968). Uffrecht left the boarding school in 1919 due to Wynekens dominance. The very same year he founded Freie Schul- und Werkgemeinschaft, which initially was located at Sinntalhof near Brückenau in Lower Franconia before it settled in Jagdschloss Letzlingen in 1922.

Der Reformpädagoge war zunächst an der von Gustav Wyneken (1875–1964) gegründeten Freien Schulgemeinde Wickersdorf bei Saalfeld im Thüringer Wald tätig, zeitweise geführt von Martin Luserke (1880–1968). 1919 verließ Uffrecht das Landerziehungsheim wegen Wynekens Dauerpräsenz und -dominanz. Uffrecht gründete im selben Jahr die Freie Schul- und Werkgemeinschaft, die zunächst im Sinntalhof bei Brückenau residierte, bevor sie 1922 im Jagdschloss Letzlingen angesiedelt wurde.
