Ugarit northern residence building

Summary edit

Description
English: This is at the Northern Residence building. A notice indicates it is a large house which can be reached via two entrances each leading to a courtyard directed towards a roofed entrance supported on two columns as in palaces or in the more beautiful residences in this city whose history goes back to the 13th century BC. It comprises one of the most beautiful funeral tombs in Ugarit, with an attached room. In this tavern (it's what the notice says) one of the most unique stone sarcophagi in the city was found.
