Iron Age Found in 1939 River Bann near Loughan Island, Co. Londonderry. Description:slightly convex 10.6 cm diameter.Decoration : a swirling triskele surrounding a circle and within a circle with a number of trumpet-shaped curves with three stylised bird heads. Decoration is low relief lines. The disc has three perforations for suspension - a loop of bronze in one.First century AD Further Reading Barry Raftery 1984. La Tène in Ireland.
