Description
Deutsch: Umgerüsteter UL-Doppeldecker "Kiebitz B" D-MKMS auf Ski. Nach einer Idee von Klaus Müller werden mit geschweißten Trägern die Fahrwerksachsen mit ehemaligen Wasserski im Schwerpunkt verbunden. Wichtig ist, dass stets die drei Skispitzen über einen Gummizug nach oben gehalten werden. Dies soll bei einer Landung ein Unterschneiden der Schneegrenze verhindern.
English: Retrofitted UL Biplane  "Kiebitz B" D-MKMS on skis. Based on an idea by Klaus Müller, the landing gear axles with former water skis in the focus are connected with welded beams. It is important that always the three ski tips are held on an elastic band upwards. This is intended to prevent undercutting the snowline at a landing.
