DescriptionUltrasound multi-frequency RGB imaging.svg |
English: Multi-frequency RGB ultrasound imaging. At least three beams with different frequencies are sent into the tissue. Green= High, Blue=Middle, Red=Low frequency. Each beam better displays better details in near (High-frequency), middle (middle frequency) and rear (low frequency) fields of image. The image displayed to user can composed so that the near field of image consists of returning high frequency sound beams and the rear part consist of low frequency beams. The returning images can also either coded into red, green and blue channels or averaged to form a gray image or rapidly displayed sequentialy so that the human eye average them by itself. |
