Rasmus P. Rothi was an assistant to photographer James H. Crockwell in Utah circa 1887 before moving to Seattle, Washington in 1890. In Seattle, Rothi was partners with Edward S. Curtis from 1893-1895, and then ran his own studio until 1910.
