Description
English: Bridging structures are not present between tail segments. The movie shows a sequence of sagittal images obtained by a 3D Fast Low-Angle Shot magnetic resonance sequence with fat suppression that progresses through the proximal end of the discarded Gecko tail. It demonstrates the interdigitating arrangement of muscle fibers and supports that fracture plane-crossing structures are absent. In addition, it visualizes the nature of the muscle termini, both in the fracture plane and in the intact tail (see also Fig. 5).
