Description
English: Time-lapse imaging of ET1-induced intracellular calcium with 3 cycles of ultra-quick freezing/thawing. CHO cells were transiently transfected with ETAR-IRES-EGFP. It was assessed after 3 cycles of ultra-quick freezing/thawing (see Figure 4D, top). Intracellular calcium imaging in response to endothelin-1 (ET1). The cells were pre-loaded with the calcium indicator Oregon Green/AM (see Materials and Methods). Calcium imaging is shown using a video obtained after 3rd ultra-quick freezing (Video S1). Bar, 20 µm. Frame size is 320×320 µm.
