English: Upgrading the A1 Close to the southern end of the Dishforth to Leeming Bar section of the A1 which is currently being upgraded to a six lane motorway. A new southbound carriageway has been built alongside the old one, which is currently being used by northbound traffic. The services on the southbound side were demolished in 2009 and those on the northbound side [red roof visible] are currently being demolished also. |
