Summary edit

Description
English: In 1997 I booked a tour by taxi in Urfa to Harran. The owner hoped to increase travel in the region, and suggested I’d take a wider, day-long, tour, as another passenger would be the authoress of the Lonely Planet guide. I gladly accepted, and what a day it was. We indeed saw Harran, but before that we went to several other spots, one of them an ancient complex (Google Maps has it as Soğmatar) that, it has been suggested, was a set of temples dedicated to heavenly gods such as sun, moon and planets. We went to other places, and at one point saw a watering place in (probably, no GPS yet) the Tek Tek Mountains National Park, and a herd approaching. These are pictures of the herd and people accompanying it.
