Description
English:
Two storey mid gateways residential building. Built to probaly tennement building to Pál Csicsmanczay Planned by Imre Rill. Built in 1872-1873. On its facade: Pál Beke by Endre Szőnyi (2019 bronze relief, limestone plaque, installed in 2021) - The building in (since) 1881 owned by Sámuel Hlavats, since 1918 furniture carpenter Antal Nagy, In 1922, in the courtyard opened Nagy Antal & Son furniture factory (workshop). The furniture factory (workshop) won the Grand Prix of the Paris World's Fair in 1937, and the furniture collection of the Museum of Applied Arts also preserves many of their pieces. In the 1950s, the workshop of the Papermaking Industrial Cooperative moved here. - At the time of Budapest100, "Furniture factory under the gang – Art deco from Józsefváros to Paris." exhibition of valuable furniture owned by the family (30s), other furnishings of the era and rare documents opens a special pop-up exhibition in the courtyard of the house. - Photo taken on Budapest100 - 32 Víg Street, Csarnoknegyed neighbourhood, 8th district of Budapest.

Felirata: 'Beke Pál/(1943-2009)/népművelő, közösségfejlesztő,/a Magyar Művelődési Intézet igazgatója,/számos civil szervezet alapítója, vezetője,/a közösségi művelődés megújítója./“A méltóságkeresés és a méltóságteremtés lett a szakmám”/(Beke Pál)/Tisztelői és az Emberi Erőforrások/Minisztériumának támogatásával állíttatta/a család/ 2019'[1] - 1881-ben Hlaváts Sámual a tulajdonos. 1918-ban vette meg Nagy Antal műbútorasztalos és felesége. 1922-ben Nagy Antal és Fia bútorüzem léteült a hátsó kertben. A bútorgyár (műhely) 1922-től az államosításig. 1937-ben elnyerték a párizsi világkiállítás nagydíját, az Iparművészeti Múzeum bútorgyűjteménye is őrzi számos darabjukat. 1936-ben Lapos Gyula lett a ház tulajdonosa. Az 1950-es években a Papírkészítő Ipari Szövetkezet múhelye költözött ide. - Budapest100 idején "Bútorgyár a gang alatt – Art deco Józsefvárostól Párizsig." kiállítás a család tulajdonában lévő értékes bútorokból (30-as évek), a korszak egyéb berendezési tárgyaiból és ritka dokumentumokból különös pop-up kiállítás nyílik a ház udvarában. Kiállított tárgyak között volt: karosszék Kaesz Gyula 1940 körüli, és mintás karosszék tervezó: Nagy Károly 1935-ben mindkettőt itt készítették; olasz lámpa 1940-es évek stb.
