Description

The United States Army in World War II: deployment of troops in Europe and the Pacific, and prevention of venereal disease. Colour lithograph, December 1945.

One side of the sheet shows troop deployments of US troops as of 18 December 1945: nos. 1-20 deployments in the Pacific; nos. 21-28 deployments in the American theater; nos. 29-53 deployments in the ETO (European theater of operations); "Prepared from public sources of information". The other side, presumably to be displayed in army quarters when the troop deployment information had ceased to be current, is a poster warning against sexually transmitted diseases.
