Note:
The Emirate Dubai was 1892-1971 British and belonged to the "Trucial states" in Southeast Arabia. From 2 December 1971 onwards was it a part of the then new founded independent "United Arab Emirates", although the old stamps with country name "Dubai" were still valid to the 31 March 1973. The Emirate "Dubai" contunued to use their own stamps still until to 1 January 1973 with validity to 31 March 1973.
