Summary edit

Description
English: Seaside building (old wooden store house) in the harbour of Vardø, a small town located at the easternmost point of Finnmark county in Norway. On roofs and ledges are seagulls on nests, and the building are stained with bird droppings. The ochre-yellow Brotkorb boathouses from the 19th century, the oldest preserved boathouses in the region, house the Pomor Museum. The picture was taken on a summer day with fog drifting in from the ocean.
