  • Significance: These buildings are unaltered examples of the simplest form of vernacular, working class housing of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. They are located within a potential historic district in Pocomoke City, a well-preserved Eastern Shore town which achieved its ascendancy as a market and shipping center for the region's agricultural products in the late nineteenth century.
