Notes
  • Significance: In 1898, Frank Lila acquired the land upon which the subject house was built. It has been suggested that the original house on the property burned down and that the present house, which was built in 1910, replaced it. The Lilas had thirteen children, nine of whom survived beyond childhood. With bedrooms in the basement, two on the first floor and three on the second, the house was clearly designed to accommodate the entire family.
