Description
English: Vale of Rheidol Railway track The Vale of Rheidol Railway is a narrow gauge railway that was opened in 1902 to serve the lead mines in the Rheidol valley. It links Aberystwyth with Pontarfynach / Devil's Bridge and is now a tourist attraction. The Rheidol gorge runs diagonally SE-NW through this square, with forested slopes on both sides. There is farmland in the SW and NE corners on higher ground.
