Description
English: The winners of the European Green Capital and Leaf 2024 Awards were announced. At the ceremony, the Spanish city of Valencia was crowned the 2024 European Green Capital, thanks to its successful promotion of sustainable tourism and achievements in the fields of climate neutrality and inclusive green transition. The city is visible in this image, acquired by one of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellites on 2 October 2022.
