Deutsch: Mirila, eine Anordnung von drei Totenraststeinen im Kartstgebiet oberhalb der Ortschaft Tribanj Kruščica an der kroatischen Küstenstraße beim Weiler Ljubotič / Mataci ca. zehn Kilometer von Starigrad-Paklenica an der meerzugewandten Südseite Velebit-Gebirges in Kroatien / Balkan / Südeuropa. Ein Mirila diente zur vorübergehenden "Rast" der Toten(träger) auf dem Weg von den abgelegenen Höfen zum Friedhof. Es war die Stelle, von denen aus der Tote "die Sonne das letzte Mal sah".
English: Mirila above Tribanj Kruščica at the Adriatic Highway near Starigrad in the Velebit mountain range in Croatia / Balkans / southeastern Europe. A Mirila used to temporarily relax the dead better the undertaker on the way from the outlying farms in the Croatian karst to the cemetery in the valley. It was the place from which the dead have seen the sun for the last time. |
