Rückseite: ESTADOS UNIDOS DE VENEZUELA - GRAM 5 1874 LEI 835. Umschrift, im Feld Wappen belegt mit Füllhörnern, unten Schriftband, darauf 19 DE ABRIL 1810 - LIBERTAD - 5 DE JULIO 1811. Ganz unten Wertangabe.

Kommentar: Das Münznominal Bolivar ist seit 1879 die Währungsbezeichnung Venezuelas. Sie ist benannt nach dem südamerikanischen Volkshelden und Freiheitskämpfer Simón Bolívar (1783-1830) und zeigt auf der Vorderseite auch sein Porträt. Für die 1872 bis 1879 geprägten Münzen war die für Venezuela geltende Währungseinheit der Venezolano.
