Deutsch: Verein Deutscher Kürschner. Gründung 8. April 1880.
Aus dem Artikeltext von 1956:
1880 wird in Leipzig der Verein Deutscher Kürschner gegründet. 1. Vorsitzender war Johann Gottlieb Friedrich Erler, dessen spätere Rauchwarengroßhandlung Friedr. Erler aus seinem 1847 begründeten Kürschnergeschäft hervorgegangen war. Den gleichen Weg sind andere prominente Rauchwarengroßhändler gegangen.
1885 gründeten die Zurichtereien in Leipzig einen Verband der Zurichter. 1900 schlossen sich die Kürschnergehilfen zu einer Organisation in Leipzig zusammen. 1902 folgt Hamburg als Reichsorganisation der Kürschnergehilfen die Gründung des Deutschen Kürschnerverbandes. 1924 werden Zurichter- und Kürschnerverband als Sektionen vom Deutschen Bekleidungsarbeiterverband übernommen.
