Français : Aux environs de 1269, lors d’une chasse aux oiseaux, l’évêque de Mariana Opizo Pernice, découvre sur une colline une source très fraîche.
Le site lui paraît si beau qu’il décide d’y faire bâtir sa demeure et nomme le lieu Belfiorito. Au fil du temps, avec l’habitude de dire que l’on monte en visite chez l’évêque : "Al Vesco vado" ("Je vais voir l'évêque"), le village de Belfiorito finit par prendre le nom de VESCOVATO. |
