  • Reenactors in entrenchment, outfitted in replica field gear and uniforms of Wehrmacht Heer, the German army, serving as soldiers of the Grossdeutschland division circa 1943.
  • The photo was taken on September 3, 2011, during the Victory Show 2011, held in the small village of Cosby, Leicestershire, UK. The Victory Show is the largest event in the country, commemorating the Second World War on a 100-acre site at Foxlands Farm every September. The event features historical reenactments of military events, including a battle and an air display.
