| Description |
Temple of LIterature. Medical treatese inscribed into stone stelae carried on stone tortoises, symbols of wisdom and knowledge. They are written in old Chinese and indeed the whole temple is very much in Chinese influence. The Temple of Literature was built in 1070 and became Vietnam's first university and a centre of learning. |
