Description
English: View down from Pulpit Rock. Pulpit Rock is a stack of stone left by quarrying activity on the west side of Portland Bill. It is possible to climb up to the top of the stack via footholds cut into a large stone slab that leans up against the east side of the rock. This view is looking downwards through the gap between the leaning slab (top) and Pulpit Rock itself (bottom). The surface of the churning sea is about 10 metres below.
