| Description |
English: View east from White Nothe, Dorset, England. In the foreground is the western slope of West Bottom. On the left the south west coast path passes the beacon at SY781809. To the right and just beyond the beacon is the headland called Bat's Head, beyond that Swyre Head and beyond that Durdle Door and Hambury Tout. The long ridge in the hazy distance on the left is Bindon Hill and on the horizon to the right is St Aldhelm's Head. This is by far the highest point on the Dorset coast for miles and approaching it on foot along the coast path from the east is an arduous task. |
