Description
English: Horizontal, black and white photograph looking down the St. Louis levee towards the Eads Bridge. The bridge crosses through the midground of the photograph. The foreground shows a man walking along railroad tracks, which run under the bridge. A large pile of stones and other rubble can be seen on the right, while two Anheuser-Busch trucks are parked beneath a railroad trestle on the left. A typed note on the back of the print, possibly an exhibit caption, reads: "View of the levee, ca. 1903. Anheuser-Busch was one of the first in St. Louis to motorize their trucks. These vehicles were electric."
