Photograph of a view of 6th Street looking west from Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, ca.1900-1920. A majority of the buildings are above four-stories tall. Notable building is the Pacific Electric building (left). Streetcar tracks line the street. Horse-drawn carriages and early-model cars can be seen parked or moving down the street. The street is busy with pedestrian traffic. Legible signs include: "P.E. Garage, Sam Johnson Auto Co.", "P.E. Buffet", "breaker", on a vehicle "43254 Cal.", "[...] Newport Co.".
