DescriptionView of Whitstable and Seasalter from the A299 - geograph.org.uk - 995193.jpg |
English: View of Whitstable and Seasalter from the A299 Immediately after the junction with its single carriageway predecessor, the A2990, the A299 Thanet Way climbs a steep incline and swings around a sharp right hand bend, meaning that if one looks back, one gets an excellent view of Whitstable and Seasalter. For best results, however, this should really be taken on a clear day - even on days when there is no mist around, it still does look rather misty on the horizon. Apologies for the blurred red lines on the image - it was taken through the rear screen of the car! View taken looking north-east from the eastbound carriageway of the A299 Thanet Way. |
