The Ostrich Farm, on the Midway Plaisance, never lacked patronage from the first day of its instal-lation. It was a most interesting exhibit, and attracted the attention not only of the ornithologicalstudent, but of mapv a fair one who affected the ostrich plumes. *>

^.&.: The Laplanders who had a village at the Worlds Fair found the climate somewhat too warm for their taste,as did also their reindeer, some of the animals dying, but, on the whole, the far northern people seemed toenjoy themselves. Among them the most notable figure was King Bull, a more than centenarian.
