Description
There was another Viggo Hansen in the Copenhagen art world at the time, so in 1885 the artist changed his surname to Langer, adopting his mother's maiden name. The experts at Bruun Rasmussen did not mention the date next to the signature, but it is there, and the uploader read it as 1882.
