Deutsch: "Friedrich Salzburg wurde am 4. Juli 1874 als Sohn jüdischer Eltern in Dresden geboren und verbrachte seine Kindheit in der heutigen "Villa Salzburg" auf der Tiergartenstraße 8. Er machte Abitur auf der Kreuzschule und wurde Rechtsanwalt. Nachdem ihm ab 1935 vom NS Regime sämtliche öffentliche Funktionen entzogen wordern waren, emigrierte er 1937 aus Deutschland. Dr. Friedrich Salzburg starb am 22. August 1953 in Berkeley, Kalifornien. Weg der Erinnerung 2013 Gesellschaft für Christlich Jüdische Zusammenarbeit Dresden e.V."
English: On the plate you can read: "Friedrich Salzburg was born on July 4th, 1874 as son of Jewish parents in Dresden. His childhood he lived here at the Villa Salzburg at Tiergartenstraße 8. He made the Abitur at the Kreuzschule School and became lawyer. After the NS regime took all his public positions away he emigrated to Berkeley, California. Dr. Friedrich Salzburg died on August 22nd, 1953."
