Am Ufer des Sees die Häuser von Conche, nahe der für Italien historischen Verbindungsstraße von der Adria Via Salaria nach Rom, von der im Vordergrund eine moderne Brücke zu sehen ist. Die Gipfel der Bergkette dahinter gehören zu den Monti della Laga: Unterhalb liegt das etwas größere Dorf Villa San Lorenzo a Flaviano am Fuß des Pizzo di Sevo (links); rechts daneben etwas südlich davon weitere Ortschaften (frazioni) nahe dem Hauptort im oberen Tronto-Tal mit dem dominierenden Monte Gorzano (2458 m) darüber.
