Vincenzo Bove "Il Vesvvio Acceso. Per l'Illustrissimo Signore Gio. Battista Valenzvela...". Napoli, Secondino Roncagliolo, 1632.

English: The pamphlet describes the events of the 1627 earthquake and the 1631 eruption. "Vincezo Bove was a sucessful bookseller whose account (of the eruption) was printed by the citys printer Roncagliolo. Saints lives had been the staple of the bookshop. But he held handbills and pamphlets on the eruption for sale by the first weeks of 1632. Typical of many of the authors, Bove wrotes in the vernacular and produced a relativly cheap and accesoble format.."
