Description NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Lt. j.g. Torrey Jacobsen, stationed aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Juniper, guides a naval sea cadet from the USS New York Division in the duties of being a helmsman while underway in the Long Island Sound, Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011. The crew and officers of the Juniper, a 225-foot coastal buoy tender, hosted members of the Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Navy League and JROTC for a day underway aboard the ship. Passengers toured the ship and observed the crew as they performed an aid to navigation maintenance evolution. U.S. Coast Guard photo by Petty Officer 3rd Class Erik Swanson.
