English: World War I Vivat ribbon with words Montmédy 31 Aug. 1914. The ribbon features a Hussar charging with drawn sword across the battlefield. Printed by Amsler & Ruthardt in Berlin for German Red Cross to raise funds for war relief. The ribbon is a light green and measures 16" x 2 1/2".
