Die VSL 1 (TM) war einer der letzten Versuche der westdeutschen Kameraindustrie, auf dem Gebiet der Kleinbild-Spiegelreflex nochmal Anschluss an die Japaner zu finden – genützt hat’s nichts mehr. Rollei hatte 1973 Voigtländer von Zeiss gekauft und aus der Zeiss Ikon SL-706 die VSL 1 gemacht. Zunächst mit M42-Gewinde (TM), später mit eigenem Bajonett. Die Kamera war keine Schönheit, aber ordentlich ausgestattet, sogar mit Offenblendmessung bei eigenen Objektiven, die von bester Qualität waren. Die Entwicklung führte bis zum Zeitautomaten VSL-3E, der baugleich war mit der Rolleiflex SL 35 E. Trotz allem: Konkurs 1981. Die VSL 1 mit Gewindeanschluss wurde von 1974 bis 1976 produziert, die mit Bajonett (BM) von 1975 bis 1979. |
