Description
Nederlands: Opname (zang) van het volksliedje 'Er was een oorlogsschip' (oudste vindplaatsen rond 1880). Tekst en melodie naar het liedboek "Nederlands volkslied", samengesteld door Pollmann en Tiggers (1941).

Dit liedje wordt gezongen door Ad Murck van het youtube-project 'Opa Zingt!'. Daarin worden alle 287 liedjes uit Pollmann en Tiggers ingezongen en online gezet.

Al deze historische liedjes vallen in het publieke domein. Vier opnames van de zangstem zijn vrijgegeven voor Wikipedia, ter illustratie van de praktijk van de actieve zangcultuur wat betreft het volkslied in vroegere eeuwen.
