Трехнефная базилика, которая строилась 23 года в подражание церквам Парижа. Была освящена 24 апреля 1879 года в день серебряной свадьбы королевской пары. Церковь была начата постройкой по указанию эрцгерцога Максимилиана, ставшего позже императором Мексики (и расстрелянного там), в память о покушении на своего брата – короля Франца-Иосифа в феврале 1853 г.
English: The votive Church.
Three-nave Basilica, which was built 23 years in imitation of the churches of Paris. It was consecrated on April 24, 1879 on the day of the silver wedding of the Royal couple. The Church was started by the Archduke Maximilian, who later became Emperor of Mexico (and was shot there), in memory of the attempt on his brother – king Franz Joseph in February 1853.

Die dreischiffige Basilika, die 23 Jahre in der Nachahmung der Kirchen von Paris gebaut wurde. April 1879 am Tag der Silberhochzeit des königlichen Paares geweiht. Die Kirche wurde im Februar 1853 von Erzherzog Maximilian gegründet, der später Kaiser von Mexiko wurde (und dort erschossen wurde), um den Versuch seines Bruders, König Franz Josef, zu Gedenken. |
