Description
Français : Lithographie parue en 1836 et issue d'un dessin d'après nature du premier chemin de fer français ouvert en 1827 entre St Etienne et Andrézieux. Wagons de charbon tiré par des chevaux. Stockage du charbon au bord du fleuve Loire (à droite de l'image) pour être embarqué sur des bateaux à fond plat appelés rambertes (non visibles ici). En arrière-plan, sur l'autre rive, le village de St Rambert. Au milieu de l'image, restes d'un bâtiment industriel (propriété Jovin).
