Description
Vulkan AG Rorschach 1965
The Vulkan company in Rorschach was founded in 1920. In 1925 it was entered to the commercial registry and it still exists today. After more than a hundred years. In 1965 the company distributed this pocket slide rule as a complimentary gift. It still works fine. Manufactured by Nestler Darmstadt, Germany. No. 0121. Nestler went bankrupt in the early 1990s. In contrast to Vulkan, the company did not make the transition into the digital age. Switzerland, Nov 17, 2021.
