Each volume has an index to the illustrations of buildings and views of the county, and an index to the biographies. The London volume was available to subscribers as sections of the whole: this section covers bureaucrats: actuaries and insurance, accountants, and secretaries. Showing a photograph titled: St George's Schools, London. Designed by Philip A. Robson, A.R.I.B.A. The architect is Philip Appleby Robson (1871–1951). The handwritten note that is visible in this image refers to Philip R.
