Entitled 'A booke of Christian prayers... worthy to be read... in these daungerous and troublesome dayes.. ' Open to pages 108-109.

Page 108: Text in gothic script, the end of a prayer from previous page and a second prayer. The text is framed by woodcut illustrations of skulls, a skeleton, a body on a bier and the figures of a captain and a soldier being led away by the skeletal figure of Death. One figure is shown in a shroud, tied above the head. This form of shroud went out of use around 1700.
