      • An Obersoldat wearing the German army field uniform M/36 (Heeres Dienstanzug Model 1936) which was mainly used in the first part of the war. Note the dark green shoulder straps for enlisted personnel with piping in deep red corps colour for the army artillery (Hochrot Artillerie Waffenfarbe). He is equipped with six ammunition pouches (Patronentaschen) for Mauser Karabiner 98k and a field flashlight (Feld Taschenlampe), etc.
