| Description |
English: WWII relics, Whitehead (1). The Blackhead lighthouse 173761 has a view stretching from the Mull of Kintyre to the Galloway coast. These two buildings are in a field immediately north west of the lighthouse and would have had an equally commanding view. They have the appearance of WWII defensive or observation posts and I have classified them as such. If anyone has more definite information please let me know. See also 1745421. |
