Description
Nederlands: In oorsprong uit ca. 1590 daterende, achtkante bovenkruier, gebouwd als poldermolen ten behoeve van de Slootgaardpolder; in 1866 voorzien van een gietijzeren haspelkruis met decoratie, voorstellende een rode ster op een wit fond, ter vervanging van een ouder haspelkruis van hout; in 1926 is de molen, waarvan kap en romp met riet gedekt zijn, van de wieken ontdaan. Karakteristieke, vrij in het weidelandschap gelegen, Noord-Hollandse poldermolenromp van algemeen belang wegens de aanwezigheid van het zeldzame haspelkruis.
